Pair accused of string of robberies face new charges, police say

(reported by NJ.com – June 3 2017)

Two people arrested earlier this year in connection to a string of home robberies are now facing charges related to a March break-in, according to police.

Christian Capacchione, 24, of National Park, and Taylor Nestor, 20, of Gloucester City, have been arrested on charges stemming from a home invasion and burglary, according to West Deptford Township police.

The two were arrested in December for a different West Deptford residential burglary, and were charged with a string of robberies in January.

The latest break-in occurred during the day of March 21 on Ollerton Road, police said. Suspects had apparently entered the home through an unlocked garage door, stealing electronics valued at more than $500, police said.

Police determined that Capacchione was a suspect, and interviewed him. He allegedly admitted to stealing the items and trading them on a Camden street corner for narcotics.

One of the stolen items was found to be with a juvenile in Westville, and police were able to track and recover it. That led them to learn of Nestor’s involvement, bringing police to charge her with receiving stolen property, police said.

Capacchione was taken to the Salem County Correctional Facility on warrants for burglary and thef , according to police.
