A Washington Township man was arrested on stalking and harassment charges earlier this week.

James Raliegh, 58, was arrested on March 28 after police received complaints that he was harassing and stalking a family, according to a press release.

Raliegh has had prior run-ins with local police, said Washington Township Police Lt. Rich Skinner.

“The police department is very familiar with this issue,” Skinner said. “We’ve dealt with him on several occasions that were not pleasant. He’s had some history where what he’s doing is bordering on harassment.”

Responding officers arrived on scene, identified Raliegh and upon searching him, found a bag of mixed prescription medications, the release said.
