A Lodi man was arrested Tuesday evening after a traffic stop.

The Lodi Police Narcotics Division was conducting surveillance when they noticed a car with a third tail light out and pulled the car over, according to a release from the LPD.

After an investigation, police say they found two bags of a white powdery substance, which they believe is cocaine, and marijuana.

The driver, Joseph Buttacavoli, 37, of Lodi was arrested and charged with manufacturing or distributing a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, distribution of a controlled dangerous substance within 500 feet of public housing or park, and distribution or possession of a controlled dangerous substance within a school zone.

This is not Buttacavoli’s first trip to jail…
