Police seize 4,000 bags of heroin from man arrested twice in 4 days, cops say

(reported by NJ.com – May 3 2017)

A Linwood man arrested on heroin distribution charges last week wasted little time getting back to business after his release from jail, according to police.

Richard C. Roycroft, 30, was arrested twice in four days and authorities found 4,000 bags of heroin and illegal prescription drugs in his home during their two visits, Linwood police said in a statement Tuesday.

Roycroft’s first arrest took place Thursday after cops executed a search warrant at his home. He was issued a summons and released.

Police said they quickly learned he resumed selling drugs and got another warrant.

Roycroft was arrested again Monday and again charged with conspiracy, possession and distribution of heroin, as well as illegal possession of prescription drugs.
