Two separate cases of child porn distribution arrests – same result – FREE TO GO under NJ Bail Reform

Anthony Mauro, 45

In two separate incidents, both John Dalton, 76, of Eagleswood, and Anthony Mauro, 45, of Beachwood, were arrested for possession of child pornography.

Mauro, a Bayville youth team leader at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, was taken into custody on charges of possession and distribution of child pornography. Found were over 100 movies and images of child pornography in computers in the house.

Dalton, 76, of Eagleswood, was arrested and accused of possession and distribution of several thousand videos and images of children being sexually abused.

Both Mauro and Dalton are now FREE TO GO under NJ Bail Reform after the Arnold Foundation’s “Pretrial Risk Assessment” tool determined that they were not a danger to the community or a flight risk and therefore should not be subject to any accountable release – just a “promise” to appear.
