Rene A. Novoa, 35, of Monroe Township, was charged with possession of child pornography after authorities searched his home. Novoa has been released and FREE TO GO after the “Pretrial Risk Assessment” tool determined that Novoa is not a danger to the community and therefore should not be subject to any accountable release – just a “promise” to appear.

Monroe Twp. man arrested on child porn possession charge

Authorities have charged a Williamstown man with possession of child pornography.

Officers received a tip in May that Rene A. Novoa, 35, of Glassboro-Cross Keys Road had downloaded images of child porn, according to Monroe Township Police.

Investigators served a warrant at Novoa’s home and “multiple electronic devices” were seized, police said.

Novoa was arrested at his home and later charged.

He was placed in Salem County Correctional Facility, but has since been released, according to jail records.
