Gerald Flores, 47, was arrested after prosecutors detectives found more than $300,000 in suspected drug money hidden in a secret compartment in his vehicle.

Flores, of the Bronx, was FREE TO GO under NJ Bail Reform guidelines after the “Pretrial Risk Assessment” tool determined that he was not a danger to the community or a flight risk and therefore should not be subject to any accountable release – just a “promise” to appear.

Bergen Prosecutor’s Detectives Find Stashed $300,000 Cash In Drug Stop

Bergen County prosecutor’s detectives investigating an East Coast drug ring arrested a Bronx driver who they said had more than $300,000 hidden in a secret vehicle compartment.

Gerald Flores, 47, was released pending court action on money laundering charges – more specifically: transporting or possessing property believed derived from criminal activity, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said after his arrest Tuesday in Hackensack.

A June 28 first appearance was scheduled in Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court.
