Michael F. Cobb, 26, a homeless man who was already a fugitive of justice, was arrested for a residential burglary after the homeowner discovered Cobb in her bedroom. Cobb has now been released and FREE TO GO thanks to NJ Bail Reform.

BURGLARY SUSPECT ARRESTED

On May 22nd at 1:45 pm, officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of N. Sussex Street for a reported burglary in progress. Upon arrival, the victim reported she arrived home and heard someone in an upstairs bedroom. She then observed the suspect, whom she knows, climb out of the window and jump down into a neighbor’s yard before fleeing. The name and description of the suspect was broadcast and he was located on Mercer Street at N. Filmore by Ptl. Tim Ryder and Shea O’Donnell a short time later. He was taken into custody and transported to Police Headquarters for questioning. After further investigation, Michael F. Cobb (26), currently homeless, was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief. He was also found to be a fugitive from justice wanted by the Camden County Sheriff’s Department. After processing, he was remanded to Camden County Jail.
