Samyon, Alexandra Gilstein

Samyon Gilstein, 33, who owned Sunrise Motors and his wife, Alexandra, 30, the dealership’s manager, allegedly used their South Hackensack dealership to pocket over $1.2 Million in sales tax collected through car transactions.

The couple were arrested and quickly released on a summons (as if they had just gotten a parking ticket) and FREE TO GO under NJ Bail Reform after the Arnold Foundation’s “Pretrial Risk Assessment” tool determined that they were not a flight risk and therefore should not be subject to any accountable release – just a “promise” to appear.
