Carlos Smith, 25, of Paulsboro - charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute within a school zone, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a weapon.

Terrell Smith, 29 - charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of a weapon. He was released pending a court date.

Shyniece Vessels, 23, of Paulsboro - arrested on active warrants and released pending court.

As of Mar 26, 2017 - Smith remains in Salem County Correctional on child support and two municipal court detainers.  He was released on the charges stemming from the drug raid, however, remains in custody on the two detainers.  Yes, you read that correctly.

Police arrested two Paulsboro men on drug and weapons charges following an early morning raid at a borough home.

Detectives from Paulsboro and West Deptford police departments served a narcotics search warrant at a home on West Madison Street at 6 a.m., police said.

Investigators found "distribution amounts" of marijuana and a firearm.

The Camden County Sheriff's Department's emergency response team assisted on the operation, making entry to the home.

Carlos Smith, 25, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute within a school zone, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a weapon.
