Glassboro, NJ – Pair arrested with two loaded handguns, drugs, in campus parking lot FREE TO GO under NJ Bail Reform

Bradley S. Murch, of Woodward, Oklahoma, and Jaleel Dunn, of Hamilton, New Jersey

Bradley S. Murch, of Woodward, Oklahoma, and Jaleel Dunn, of Hamilton, Mercer County, were both arrested after a police stop uncovered two loaded handguns and a small quantity of marijuana.

Rowan University police initially stopped the car the pair were driving for tailgating and improper window tinting.

A probable cause search was conducted (after police noticed the strong smell of marijuana) which then uncovered a loaded Glock handgun under the driver’s seat and a loaded Taurus revolver under the passenger’s seat. The revolver was loaded with hollow-point bullets, police said.

A small amount of marijuana was also discovered.

The pair were charged with unlawful possession of firearms on a school campus, possession of the handguns without permits, illegal possession of hollow-point ammunition and drug offenses.

Both Murch and Dunn were later released from Salem County Jail and FREE TO GO after their first appearance under NJ Bail Reform after the Arnold Foundation’s “Pretrial Risk Assessment” tool determined that they were not a danger to the community or a flight risk and therefore should not be subject to any accountable release – just a “promise” to appear.
