Glassboro, NJ – Man sexually assaults drunken woman in her bed FREE TO GO under NJ Bail Reform

Dante J. Hickson, 24, of Palmyra, was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a drunken woman while she slept.

Accordingly to the complaint, the victim was “highly intoxicated” after a night of drinking with her roommates. After her roommates helped her into bed, the victim awoke, between 4 and 5 am, to find Hickson standing at the foot of her bed. The covers had been removed and her pajama pants and underwear were around her ankle.

After a sexual assault examination, DNA taken from the victim matched that of Hickson.

After his arrest, Hickson was later released and FREE TO GO under NJ Bail Reform after the Arnold Foundation’s “Pretrial Risk Assessment” tool determined that he was not a danger to the community or a flight risk and therefore should not be subject to any accountable release – just a promise to appear.

Man sexually assaulted drunken woman as she slept, police say

Authorities have charged a Palmyra man with sexually assaulting an intoxicated woman in her bed.

The victim was out drinking with friends on a night in January and was “highly intoxicated” when her female roommates helped her to bed, according to a criminal complaint.

A short time later, between 4 and 5 a.m., the victim said she awoke to find her covers removed and her pajama pants and underwear around her ankles.

A man, later identified as Dante J. Hickson, 24, was standing at the foot of her bed, she told police.
